91 Es250 Having Trouble Starting

I own a 91' Lexus es250 and sometimes when i try to start it it makes a sound like its already started when its not its hard to explain the sound i dont know if it has something to do with my fly wheel or what :( :( some advice would be apppreciated thanks

If sounds like you have a issue with the starter solenoid not engaging the flywheel/flex plate ring gear properly. If it goes on for very long you can damage the ring gear. Remove the starter and check the ring gear for damage. Then install a rebuilt starter.
