Kevinusaf
2002 LS 430 70,000 miles. Recently started aiming the headlights too low. When ignition happens it goes through the self-adjustment process but recently started aiming only about a car length ahead of me. For a while the headlight adjustment warning came on then it stopped but the lights are still aimed too low. Opened hood and it said adjust both screws in the same direction at the same time. Which screws? Can't find anything in the manual about adjusting the headlights. There are two little screws close together, a sprocket looking thing in a plastic housing and on the side, and then then two larger screws. 05silverls430
I had the same problem with my 2003. One headlight was lower than the other. It became really annoying. The dealer never was able to get it corrected, and then I traded to my current 2005. I also tried without success to level the headlights on my own.
