Navigation Dvd Upgrade For Gen 2/3...help!

I have a 2004 GS 430 and it has a Gen 2/3 DVD Navigation. I have a Data Disk 3.1 How worth it is the upgrade to current 7.1? Where can I get it at a reasonable price? I saw you can try to download online...but that looks time consuming and risky. I don't want to pay 300+ for it either..... any thoughts?

im getting the newest one soon.......wanna buy my old one? u wont find a new one for less thank 260 i dont think so i wouldnt spend over 300 either
