injvstice Posted November 6, 2008 Share Posted November 6, 2008 One of my headlights (01 lexus ls430) have started flickering and goes off after a few seconds. I am assuming that either the ballast or the bulb has gone bad. Earlier this week it was staying on dim and purple. Now it goes off completly. Are there any symptoms I should look for, to determine which one it is (bulb or ballast), to save some ordering headaches? And what is a reliable seller on the internet to order good quality bulbs/ballas at decent price? And more important, are there any posted instruction on how to access the ballast and bulb, or can someone walk me through doing it? I understand it requires me taking out the whole assembly? I understand that the ballast is under the light assembly, but can someone help walk me through removing the assembly?
