Heater Problems.... Help!

I really need some help on this one before I pay a shop to mistreat my car. My 01 is300 blows ice cold ac but when I turn the dial to heat anything it only blows barely warm or just air from the cabin I am not really sure. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like the heater control valve may be stuck, or you could have a vacuume leak in the line that controls the temperature adjustment doors inside the heater plenum.

Either way, the parts are cheap, it's the labor to get into there that will add up, unless it's the control valve, that shouldn't be too much.
