Front Rt Knocking And Other Noises

2002 GS 300. Knocking noise front right near wheel. Comes and goes. When knocking it varies with the speed of the car. It is worse right after I wash my car. Also, from same area, I sometimes get a slight grinding noise. Brake pads have about 5000 miles on them though I never had this noise before the brake job.

knocking noise? have you had your ball joint replaced yet? as far as the brake, it could be your caliber locking up the wheel which can create grinding noise. i had these two problems. better get it check out man.
