  2. http://www.automotivelightingusa.com/index...roducts_id=1246 is this a fog light connector??? if it is, do i plug that into the original one i had? or do i need to replace it, since only one side of the fog light is sometimes out... thanks.
  3. I just got a full inspection yesterday at Lexus and here are the problems they found, I'm not sure if everything they said is actually bad since I know dealership service always tries to rip us off... 1. fluid changes with timing belt and waterpump $2400 2. rear main seal is leaking $2100 (they said it's very minor and told me to pay attention to the leakage, could run for about 10k-15k miles. 3. right front outer tie rod ends need replaced $235 4. four wheel alignment $129 (after #3, they have to do it they said) 5. fog light connector $65 Anyone knows where can I get cheaper parts and if it's recommended to get these parts fixed by my local mechanic (he has worked on vdub all his life and specialized in german cars like audi/bmw, i got my bank1O2 sensor fixed there) Please help! thanks!
  4. knocking noise? have you had your ball joint replaced yet? as far as the brake, it could be your caliber locking up the wheel which can create grinding noise. i had these two problems. better get it check out man.
  5. I'm looking for some legit websites that carries GS's products, especially for suspensions. Please help out!
  6. do you have the angel headlights kit? or do you have the actual headlights that comes with the rings? im thinking about getting them and I don't know which one is better.
  7. Do you guys think I need to replace my shocks? or just the springs? or something else? 93k on mileage.
  8. you guys think I should have it checked out by lexus first to determine whether if i need to replace the springs or shocks or whole kit? oh, i'm thinking about lowering it a little. any recommendations? thanks guys!
  9. anywhere i can find some with cheap or decent prices? im not really looking into high performance suspension kits. oh by the way the car is about 93k....is this about the right time to replace it?

  11. It feels like I'll need to replace the suspension of my 2000 GS300. Whether it is the springs, the shocks, or the whole kit, does anyone know where should I get it from? Has anyone who has a 2nd gen GS done any suspension replacement or upgrade? Please let me know. Thanks.
  12. i actually have the exact same car and same problem but i got it fixed from a local mechanic. good luck with it.
  13. your mpg will go up down if you don't...because from what i've been told, that sensor basically calculates how much gas you need to use while driving. I might be wrong, but better to get anything bad replaced.
  14. got my bank1 sensor 2(the one after the catalytic converter) replaced by a local mechanic expert. i paid $120, the part was like $60-80. should definitely get it fixed asap.
  15. ahh, same problem on my 2000 gs300. toyota everything is very dependable, but lexus, unless with good maintenance, it can still have lots of problems.
