jdlynch Posted October 10, 2008 Posted October 10, 2008 My wife's 2005 GX470 is just now at the 60,000 mile mark and the dealer has mailed me a reminder that it's time for service. I realize a lot of the items on their recommended list of things to do are probably not necessary, and, could possibly be done cheaper at a Toyota dealership. Would anyone here be able to identify what items need to be addressed at the 60,000 mile mark and whether or not it would be OK to have the service done outside of the Lexus dealeship? My GX is a Lexus certified pre-owned. Thanks, David
The G Man Posted October 15, 2008 Posted October 15, 2008 You can do the maintenance at a Toyota dealer, since the 4runner is the same as the GX. Just go thru the list and do all the fluid, belts and filter changes and you will be fine.

Seems there has not been a lot of activity on the forum lately.
The G Man Posted October 16, 2008 Posted October 16, 2008 No problem, like I said just do the absolute necessary stuff and the dealer usually check all those other thing anyways because they want to find something broken and make more money :)
