Pop
There have been comments on here about replacing tires, but how about tire wear. I have a 2007 RX350 with 20,000 miles. The tires have what I feel is abnormal wear on them for this amount of miles. I keep the pressure correct, have rotated them and there seems to be no shimmy or any other signs of alignment problems when I drive the car. Any ideas here? rosen39
What size tire do you have? Are they 17" or 18"? I have the Goodyear Eagle RS-A 18" on my 2008, and they have a relatively low wear rating (on the outside of the sidewall) of 260. If you calculate 12,000 miles of wear for every "100" amount on the sidewall, then you may get 30,000 under optimum conditions. If you have the 17" tires, they should have a much higher wear rating on the sidewall. You have to make a choice between handling or mileage. After I posted this, I saw another string down below on exactly the same problem. So apparently this is not just an isolated issue. Thanks for your reply.
