hch789 Posted September 17, 2008 Posted September 17, 2008 My parents have an RX300 that got a flat tire a couple of hours ago, they were parked next to another RX at the tire place, when they went to get the car the ignition switch and the steering are locked. They think maybe the service guy used the wrong key in their car. Is there anything they can do?
SW03ES Posted September 17, 2008 Posted September 17, 2008 Try and turn the steering wheel while turning the key. Sometimes if the key is shut off when the wheel is under load (being turned) it will bind and it can be really hard to turn the key. Turning the wheel to reduce the load while turning the key should work.
