Vehicle Skid Control Dash Light On -- Can't Eliminate

Dash shows 'VSC'; button under steering doesn't eliminate; traced ABS fuse to box #1 (engine compartment, left side). Will replacing this fuse solve the dash light problem? Or do I have something (heaven forbid) more serious? Can I ignore this and run without skid control?

Where can I get the fuse and how is it identified?

try to scan to see if theres a CEL code... the VSC light comes on with the CEL light sometimes... maybe the CEL bulb is out. autozone scans for free.
