Replacing Lower Control Arm..

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

This morning, I went to a Firestone to change oil for my 97' es300 and the tech said that front left wheel is a little shaky and the lower control arm needs to be replaced.

They gave me a qoute with $410 for the part, $190 for the labor and $80 for the alignment, total $680. I feel like it is too expensive.

So my question is, is it reasonable price? Also do I have to replace the whole lower control arm or can replace just the bushing (?) which seems like the part that is loose when I shake the wheel?

I appreciate you guys for the helps.

Thanks,
