shotter27 Posted August 5, 2008 Posted August 5, 2008 Hi could someone tell me what, type of lights I can use for running daylight lights on my car, my colour is kind of yelow right now, i was wondering can i get like a bright white light instead thank you.
Neo Posted August 5, 2008 Posted August 5, 2008 The GS DRLs are the high beams running at 1/2 power. You can try to switch it out to minimize the yellow but 1/2 power of anything will be kind of yellowish.
sakataj Posted August 6, 2008 Posted August 6, 2008 um i have HIDS in my high beams (i added them) and i have a separate bulb for the DRL'S plus i have seen people change there DRL'S and get white or even blue lights, so are you sure they just the highs running at half speed? that would make my DRL'S hids in my case and i know for a fact they are just a small bulb think they are 194's! http://www.sylvania.com/ConsumerProducts/A...LRG-Results.htm i believe them to be the step/courtesy lights brian
Neo Posted August 6, 2008 Posted August 6, 2008 The 194s are parking lights. These are the little bulbs in the corner of the high beam part of the housings. These area not DRLs.
sakataj Posted August 6, 2008 Posted August 6, 2008 hmmmm i keep my lights on auto and these lights are ALWAYS on so im just assuming they were! arent the drl's in the high beams.......... brian
Neo Posted August 6, 2008 Posted August 6, 2008 hmmmm i keep my lights on auto and these lights are ALWAYS on so im just assuming they were! arent the drl's in the high beams..........brian Try turning the lights off. The DRLs should be on regardless of the light switch.
sakataj Posted August 12, 2008 Posted August 12, 2008 Try turning the lights off. The DRLs should be on regardless of the light switch. ok i did but these still ARENT my high beams . my highs are hid's and these are def a small little bulb brian
PHML Posted August 20, 2008 Posted August 20, 2008 replace DRL bulb with 9005 LEDs....but you will lose highbeam (if you need it).
