patj Posted July 4, 2008 Posted July 4, 2008 Just bought a 2008 ES350. The retention clip holes in the capet floor mats and all-weather mats don't line up with the holes in the floor of the car. I can't anchor the mats, is this normal?

We had an RX330, and in a dealer's technicians hurry, he pushed the clip all the way through. They were going to have to replace the entire carpet. I chose to leave it alone and didn't have slippage of the mat. I would have preferred to have the clip - but............
gordonw Posted July 5, 2008 Posted July 5, 2008 Sounds like you may have the incorrect mats for the vehicle. Are you sure you have the ES350 set and not the ES330 set?
