'99 Gs300 Signal Factlry Amp To Turn On

I am installing a carpuer in a '99 GS 300 and need help infiguring out how to signal the factory amp to turn on. The amp is on the passenger side behind the glove box. I have searched thr forums and have found a couple different wiring diagrams, but not seem to do the trick. I can figure out the speakers once I get the amp to turn on. Does anyone know or have any suggestions?

hey your best bet is to goto best buy or something and get the wiring harness for toyota 97' and up. then you can probably connect it the the connectors on the head unit side and jus connect wires that way..should make things easier.

its !Removed! backwards to bypass the amp like i did but it should work.
