Ferranki
I have a 2007 IS250AWD with a Mark Levinson system. When playing certain commercial CDs (not burned) all of a sudden the sound is lost and the volume control ceases to work. When the knob is turned you don't see the normal number setting of the volume. The CD continues to play but nothing is heard. No radio, Aux, or voice command sound either. If I pull off the road and turn the car off, then back on, the system resets and everything is back to normal. It can be fine for weeks, then it happens again, but only in the CD mode. Very frustrating. I have one CD that it seems to happen with every time. I've played the same CD on a bunch of other players including a family member's 07 ES350 standard sound system and had no problem whatsoever. My dealer has been as cooperative as I could hope for. First they replaced the amp. That didn't help. Next they replaced the player itself, but again to no avail. I don't know what else it could be. Has anyone else had this problem? bp300
I have a problem with my audio system as well. When I am listening to a CD or the radio, the whole audio system will shut down and eject a disk or several discs. It is completely random. At first, I thought it was due to one of my discs, but I swapped them all out with new ones. Still did not solve the problem. I even tried loading all commericial (not burned) discs, but that did not help either. No idea what the problem is, and I've only had the car for 6 months. It's weird, because the problem happens when I'm listening to the radio too. Not just when I am listening to a CD. Any ideas? Thanks.
