tomdorkey Posted June 19, 2008 Share Posted June 19, 2008 Both of the hood lift assemblies have stopped functioning on my car, and I am wondering if anyone has bought aftermarket parts for this item. They are just a spring/gas strut, something that is readily available and common in industry, so there's no need to get a "Lexus" replacement. As long as it's the proper replacement equivalent, it'll work fine. Mine were ~$45/side from some vendor on eBay.
