Swaseem
Hello ! My check engine light came ON and got the code from Auto Zone. (P1130) They told me that it might be the Air/Fuel Ratio Sensor Bank 1 Sensor 1. Does anyone know where is it located and can I change it on my own? I think Air/Fuel Ratio Sensor is similar to Oxygen Sensor. I appreciate your help! Thanks! 2000 Lexus ES300

Thanks! 2000 Lexus ES300 P1133 and P1153 are air fuel ratio sensor malfunction codes..They serve the same purpose as an oxygen sensor but work a little differently.. I went ahead and replaced Air/Fuel Ratio Sensor at the front of the engine, cost $199.00 then reset and cross my finger. No problem after 5 days, Check Good! SKperformance
o2 sensors and air fuel sensors are the same thing, they use precious metals as a temp probe to tell the combustion temps and adjust it accordingly. Bank one is against the firewall.
