Hi Everyone,

I need help to clean my IACV since I had it clean by mechanic once about 5 to 6 months ago and idle is sticky again when starting engine whle it hot, he only removed a intake black big rubber hose and spray in chemical clean. He did not take IACV apart. I called dealer and they told me cleaning is only good for few months only and I need to replace a new one around $300.00. Should I go ahead and have it clean one more time?. Please provide instruction with pictures if possible.

There are several overviews on cleaning the IACV for the ES300 in the ES300 forum (inculding one I did with pictures). You can find them using the search function for "idle control valve".
