Denise
My daughter and I will be driving my wife's 400H from Houston to CA. That's not the most interesting drive. To keep sane, she surfs the 'net. Is there any reason I cannot use a power inverter, stuck in the lighter socket, to plug in the computer and power an iPod? Said another way, is there something different about a hybrid so that one cannot use an inverter that would not cause a problem on a gas engine car? Thanks. sjh
jcrome04
Should be no problem. an inverter just converts DC → AC
eatingupblacktop
Just be carefull that your laptop doesn't drain the battery too low. The ipod doesn't need as much juice. Here's a thread about batteries you might find interesting to read: http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index...showtopic=48104
