lwleedy Posted May 24, 2008 Posted May 24, 2008 How accurate is your odometer? I was going down the interstate and hit the reset when I passed a mile marker. 100 miles later my odometer show 95.6 miles. A fiend of mine works for DOT and I asked him how accurate the markers were and he said they were on the button. I don't have my portable GPS since I got the RX400 Nav unit. I could check it by running both. Anyway has anyone checked their odometer? Thanks, Lenny
jrober Posted May 24, 2008 Posted May 24, 2008 I will have to check mine with my GPS. I hope mine is the same because it will mean my warranty will last about 5% longer.

In 100 miles you could probably accomplish that much variation by always being on the inside of most of the curves.

It read higher than actual... I checked it against a Garmin GPSMap 76C...
