Programming Fob

I messed up. I wanted to remove the oil change reminder off. What happens? The key isnt recognized anymore.

The car starts if you put the fob near the start stop button however.

how do I reprogram it?

If you have to hold the smart fob near the push button to start the car, that usually means the key battery has been discharged.

Try replacing the battery and see if the key is then recognized. See owner's manual, page 27.
