Eltee Posted May 21, 2008 Posted May 21, 2008 I recently had some work down on the radio in my car in the past months. I noticed since then the floor of the cabin is wet after it rains. I am suspecting that, since some wiring work was done, the grommet was not replaced properly or is missing. Does anyone have any other suggestions? The rubber stripping around each door and the sunroof appears to be properly in place? How much will such a repair cost (I have already informed the dealership that I am not happy about bringing my vehicle back for the third time).
RX in NC Posted May 21, 2008 Posted May 21, 2008 This is a common problem and probably has nothing to do with the work you had done on your radio. Your moonroof drains are clogged with debris. Locate them where the moonroof seals against its gasket (there are usually four, one in each corner) and blow them out with compressed air....
Eltee Posted May 21, 2008 Author Posted May 21, 2008 Thank u much RX in NC! I will try that this afternoon.
