Replacing Fuel Filter, But Where Is The Fuel Pump Fuse?

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I am trying to replace my fuel filter on a '95 SC400 (connections are rusted on which is another problem) and I know I need to depressurize the system. The book I have (general info) says to remove the Fuel Pump fuse and then run the car until it stalls, but where is the fuel pump fuse? I can't seem to find it in the owners manual. Thanks for any help,

Joe

Factory wiring diagram for a '00 SC3 shows no seperate fuse for the fuel pump. Pump is powered from Fuel Pump ECU, which is powered from the Engine Control Module. Easiest way to shut down fuel pump might be to disconnect wire harness at the fuel tank. Access from behind the rear seat back.
