TexasLexus94
I changed the thermostat on my 94LS with a cheapie simply because at the time, I had several other problems, and wanted to be sure the 'stat wasn't a problem. So I left it in, and have had no problems. I think Paris Hilton could change it out-top hose at the engine block. The only thing I can think of is that it might be installed backwards, or it's the wrong one. Best of luck.
90LS400Lexus
Good to hear that your wife has an observing eye. On a car that new- many people would never even think to look at the gauge for overheating. I do catch myself occasionally glancing at mine from time to time. Does that car have a chime that sounds when the engine overheats, or when a warning light illuminates? 01 LS430, 107KWP & TB changed at 90K, **************************** on freeway, wife spotted temp guage climbing towards H...
