Chaotic1 Posted May 4, 2008 Share Posted May 4, 2008 anyone have detailed information on how to remove the heater core? i have decided to fix mine mine myself. i have looked everywhere except a dealer for one and cant find it anywhere. besides, even if i do find one i am still going to wanna do it myself. any help would be appreciated. Jarrod Mello 1.disconect negative battery cable 2.set temp control to max cool 3.drain engine coolant 4.reclaim the freon from a/c system 5.remove water valve 6.remove brake tube bracket bolts on the fire wall 7. remove abs actuator 8.disconect liquid and suction tubes from the a/c unit/ evap core 9.disconect equalizer tube 10.remove cover plate under glove box 11.remove power steering relay box,cooling fan ecu, trac ecu 12.lift carpet from passenger side 13. remove a/c unit cover 14.remove air duct bolt 15.remove a/c unit/evap housing and evaporator 16. reomve heater core Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
