2005 Or 2006 Awd

I am looking at a couple of 2005 and/or 2006 RX to buy used, and I wanted AWD due to the winters in chicago.

Is there a way to tell if a RX has AWD, just by looking at it or by the VIN.

Is there any markings, or physical characteristics?

Maybe someone else knows better than I, but the only way I could tell when I was looking at used RX's was to look under the rear bumper to see if it had a rear diff.

Look at the fourth digit of the VIN: G for 2WD, H for AWD
