Small Problem, Possible Overheat Warning?

Iam a new owner of lexus and this site. I was running my car pretty hard the other day, driving fast and all, quick turning, fast accel, and when i turned it off to get gas and started again it kind of choked up and wouldnt start right like there was a buildup of something or the engine was too hot and needed a break? idk im just a 16 year old kid and have no clue about some of this *BLEEP*, i have an 01 es300 and it had gas, just kinda nervous i messed it up driving too fast...what do you guys think?

Have you checked your fluids lately? Coolant, engine oil, brake fluid, transmission oil, etc?

Idk what it was but me and my dad checked everything in the car and it all was good.....hasnt happened since we did that a few nights ago, i think i just ran it too hard for too long.........im looking into buying a k and n air filter....good purchase?
