2007 Ls460l Rear Trunk Mat Rubber Is Deteriorating.

The mat rubber is breaking down and causing a sticky substance on the trunk carpet. This was confirmed at Lexus, Austin TX. Also the tech found more cars with the same problem. The trunk mat and carpets were ordered, have arrive and an appointment has been made to install them.

My 2010 LS460L is doing the same thing. The back of mat is sticky and the secondary rug is also sticky .

Come'on guys, the car is already 10 years old, dont you think it can deteriorate, moreover it greatly depends on the environment in which the car is kept
