Telephone Sound Quality

I have a '05 LS430. The sound through the speaker on bluetooth telephone calls is distorted and tinny. I have to frequently person to repeat what they said. Are others finding this to be the case? Let me know either way so I can determine whether it's my vehicle or a design problem. Thanks

Could possibly be the cell phone you are using.
