I live in Southern California, I owe a Lexus SC400 with high mileage (though it still looks and drive pretty cool). I just noticed a strange thing here with the transmission, 1st is ok, 2nd go really smooth, 3rd gear is a kick, 4th gear is smooth... Why the hell this kick from gear 2 to gear 3 ? Any idea ? Thx in advance if someone got any answer!

UCF3 Posted March 25, 2008 Posted March 25, 2008 it can be fixed, but I'd suggest replacing all of your mounts on the engine and Transmission so that you don't have to worry about it.
