Rpm When Car Is Started In Cold Weather

Hi,

When I turn on the ignition on the IS250 (MT) on a cold morning, initial RPM is 1500 and it gradually subsides to 1000 in about 5-7 minutes. It takes about 10-15 mins to go down below 1000 RPM. Is this normal? Thanks :D

Normal. :) It will run at a higher rpm until the car gets up to normal operating temperature.
