60,000 Mile Maintenance

I am getting ready to have the 60,000 mile maintenance done on my 2003 is300 and have discovered that is is going to cost me around 900 dollars at a lexus dealer to get everything done that the manual suggests. I wanted to know if anybody has tried to do the maintenance themselves, what repair book they used, and how difficult it was?
