ThuyNguyen
i just found out after a big snow last night, the wiper does not "park" under the hood. at first i thought i broke something but i'm feel relieved to read how there's "winter" mode and "summer" mode for the wipers. my question is, is this done automatic (snow sensor?) ? if so, will it park again under the hood when snow is gone? You can just push on one wiper (where the blade attaches to the arm) to push it back to summer mode. Snow/ice just got jammed at the windshield and it forced the change iteslf. I like the summer mode is better - the wipers are better hidden. When i know it's gonna snow, I pull them up to winter. I don't see you have a year listed for your car, but i don't think it matters. My 91 Legend had the same thing. I have a '00 es300.

In 92-96 es300s, all you have to do is open the hood, find the wiper motor...which is on the left top side of the engine compartment (basically right under the windshield area once you open the hood) take the electrical connector off and turn it around...whalah! winter mode!
