clouser Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 Hello All, I own a 03’ 470, the manual states that snow chains should only be installed in the rear wheels. My personal opinion is to have snow chain installed on all 4 wheels for maximum traction and safety. Anyone know why Lexus only recommends installing snow chains on the rear wheels? And would I damage the drive train if I decided to mount snow chains up front as well? Many thanks for your feedback. Happy New Year! Joe
clouser Posted January 4, 2008 Author Posted January 4, 2008 yes, should be easy enough. Only plan to use them when required. Crazy enough we're heading to Yosemite this weekend, skiing at Badger's pass... Are you going to install them?
