Vacuum Line

I have a LS1 and the large vacuum line, or what appears to be a vacuum line on the front of the intake is cut and plugged with a screw. It’s the one to the right under the Lexus badge. Is this important or no big deal? Thanks.

Is that not the cold start assist? Does it (did it) go to a servo looking thing by the coil? If it starts OK, I would disregard but at least put a nice pipe plug in it.

That sounds like one of the lines that come from the air control valve at the bottom of the power steering pump. I suspect that the valve failed and was allowing power steering fluid to be drawn into the intake manifold. Rather than replace the valve, someone blocked off the line.
