I want more of a throaty sound that this rice burner sound (I have a leak right before the muffler) The guy I work with has a nice muffler on his 96 LS. It is pretty subtle and quiet at idle while still sounding deep, it is nice and noticable on light acceleration and cruising, and it is aggresive on haerd acceleration. Of course that is a big V-8, but I am a newbie in the exhaust portion of the auto industry. So a few questions: 1.) does anyone here have an aftermarket muffler on their old ES's? VBdenny Posted December 23, 2007 Share Posted December 23, 2007 Unless you REALLY need the sound, you are crazy to cut into the factory stainless steel exhaust.
