outlaw_racer_01 Posted November 29, 2007 Posted November 29, 2007 Hi guys, i buy a 2001 Lexus IS and now i decide change the 17" rims for any other of 18" and have a question about the offset. 225/40/18 tyres on 8" x 18" offset +45 rims work good in front and rear with a TEIN S-TECH Lowering Springs? Thanks.
smooth1 Posted November 29, 2007 Posted November 29, 2007 I don't think your gonna have any issues with 45 mm. I think the standard fitment is 40 mm, 42 mm, and 45 mm at 8'' wide rims. 225/40/18 is right. So you should be good to go.
outlaw_racer_01 Posted December 2, 2007 Author Posted December 2, 2007 Hello again, Sombody knows whats the offset of the OEM 7" x 17" rims? Thanks.
smooth1 Posted December 2, 2007 Posted December 2, 2007 If memory serves me, the 17x7 is 50 mm offfset.
