usta Posted November 23, 2007 Posted November 23, 2007 Just picked up my wife's new 08 AWD RX 350. It came with Goodyear Eagle RS/A tires. They seem a little noisy if you ask me. I had a GX470 before and didnt notice outside noise at all. Does the tires make that much of a difference? Thanks eric
gordonw Posted November 23, 2007 Posted November 23, 2007 The Goodyears are considered by many to be noisiest of the two tires that came with the vehicle. The other tire, Michelin MXV4 S8, is much quieter.
Booyah Posted December 2, 2007 Posted December 2, 2007 Yep the crap-years suck! I made my dealer swap the crappers for Michelins:)
Rillo Posted December 13, 2007 Posted December 13, 2007 I just switched to Dunlop Sports here in the UK and they are much quieter than the bridgestones that came with the vehicle.

Thanks eric I have an 07 FWD RX 350 with Goodyear Eagle RS/A's and they are terrible (noisy and wear much too quick). Only have 15K miles on my RX and am replacing the wornout RS/A's (down to the tread bars) with Continental CrossContact LX's (255/55HR18) this weekend. Getting a set from Discount Tire for $850 total (including hazard warranty). Continental currently has a great deal. If you purchase a set of 4 tires you get a Magellan Roadmate 1200 GPS ($199 value). You can read many positive reviews about this tire at Tirerack.com and Discounttire.com. Thanks John
