Scott4ls
I purchased a GS 300 used 4 months ago. Nice car! - but not real happy with the ride. The yokohama tires are stiff and really noicy. I have never heard so much noice. I was thinking about changing over to Michlen tires and moving to a bigger (taller) tire a 55 series to help with the ride. My questions is - will the tire fix without complications - has anyone tried this? Or has anyone improved the ride with a different set of tires. For some reason, I think this feature may not have been available on the 300 for the '06 year model. Not sure about other year models. Another thought...my car originally came with run-flat tires. They didn't last long and when I replaced them, I didn't buy run-flats. The ride was quite a bit smoother as the run-flat tires have very stiff side-walls.
