I have an 06 GS300 - I am getting 24 average - on trips at highways speeds - I can get as much as 34 to 35 miles per gallon - in the city the worst I get is around 20. For this type of heavy car - I think that is great!

I have a 2006 GS300 - I am looking to beef up the engine - so I can have more horsepower and a little more fun with the car. Any ideas for something not too costly - perhaps under $1,000.?

I purchased a GS 300 used 4 months ago. Nice car! - but not real happy with the ride. The yokohama tires are stiff and really noicy. I have never heard so much noice. I was thinking about changing over to Michlen tires and moving to a bigger (taller) tire a 55 series to help with the ride. My questions is - will the tire fix without complications - has anyone tried this? Or has anyone improved the ride with a different set of tires. Thanks
