texaslexas Posted November 13, 2007 Share Posted November 13, 2007 I to am new to this fourm and last weekend bought a 95 LS 400. While having 218000 miles on it I knew it would have a few things wrong that I would not notice on the test drive. I am hoping that some of you would have some advise as this is the first Lexus I have owned. The first thing I noticed is a humming noise when driving 45-70 MPH. The second thing, there is about 1/2 inch of play in the steering. Then the A/C makes a small humming noise, but it blows ice cold. And now I see that the check engine light is on.
