stirling Posted November 10, 2007 Posted November 10, 2007 what BOV do you guys suggest, i got a mach up of a Tial BOV and i im not that into it, but i need a new one anyways, so let me get some of your sugestions.
smooth1 Posted November 11, 2007 Posted November 11, 2007 are you running an open bov or are you recirculating it in the charge pipe? HKS just came out with a really nice bov. I have the Raptor set up as a return, it's ok, I need a stiffer spring though.
stirling Posted December 7, 2007 Author Posted December 7, 2007 i need it to be recirculating and need a softer spring cause im only boosting 5-6 pounds. i was probably gonna go with the HKS ssqs but was also looking into the new synchronic bov but since it is a new brand i cant really trust it, what do you kow about it?
smooth1 Posted December 7, 2007 Posted December 7, 2007 Well, to be honest, I don't think Iv'e ever heard anything bad about HKS, Apexi, Blitz or GReddy bov's. With any specialty equipment you will have an occasional failure, but other than that. I'm using the Turbonetics Raptor right now. I have now complaints. It does what it's supposed to. I have it set up as a recirc. I hit full spool by 2800 rpms, and the FI system stays nice and quiet. ( other than the rush of air coiming out the exhaust!) LOL! The HKS sequential is more about being able tune the sound of the air outlet. Other than that it is still the HKS bov.
