HeidiRabbit Posted October 28, 2007 Share Posted October 28, 2007 I have an '01 RX300 and just discovered that the master key won't work. I put a fresh battery in and the remote operates the locks but won't start the car. Dealer mechanic told me it's very unusual for the chip to go bad so I'm going to be out $200 for a new key.
