Peterf Posted October 16, 2007 Share Posted October 16, 2007 Hi all, I'm new here and new to Lexus. My wife just bought a 2001 GS430. It's in absolutely great shape with only 60,000 kilometers on it. It was parked for the winters. The reason for the post is that she says that it sometimes has immediate power loss as she drives along. It's as if she took her foot off the accelerator but she hasn't. When this happens and she conciously hits the gas the car responds immediately. I've only driven it a few times and I think it's a rocket. Of course I'm a little more aggressive and haven't experienced this but I can't discount what she's saying.
