abbodi Posted October 5, 2007 Share Posted October 5, 2007 I have a 99 LS400 . I love the car and it's in a good condition. However, a month ago a problem has started in my trany. The ECT PWR light is blinking as soon as I start the car. I switched on and off the ECT PWR but it is still blinking. I noticed that the car does't respond as it used to when I hit the padel. Also when the RMP is 4000+ the shifts are very harsh. I was driving at 100km/h ( 62 MPH ) then I hit the padel all the way until I reached 180km/h (112MPH),again the acceleration is not that bad however the shifts at high RPM are just annoying. I've checked the sensors at gearbox shop and they said the gearbox isn't faulty. Does anyone know anything about this, because fixing at the stealership costs at least $1300 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
