persi Posted October 5, 2007 Share Posted October 5, 2007 I recently purchased a used 2006 LS 430 with Ultra Luxury options. The car is perfect except that it came with only one Smart Key. I did a little research and it looks like a replacement from a dealer costs around $400. E-bay has some used Smart Keys for about $75, but they need to be programmed by a Lexus dealer. Has anyone here had to find a Smart Key replacement? If so, what did you do, and how much did it cost? By the way, I love this car...it's a real beauty. Make sure your purchased key has the transponder in it. Lexus will be able to program it to work with you car. You will have to ask a local dealer about the cost.
