Samantha Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 My fuse for the power outlet went out for both the cigarette location and the console location. I replaced the fuse but the console outlet is only working. Is anyone else having issues with their cigarette outlet?

I replaced the fuse but the console outlet is only working. Is anyone else having issues with their cigarette outlet? Was the cig. lighter used as a cig lighter? Sometimes the ashes and crud can short out the lighter unit. If not, then you may have to pull out the cig lighter and make sure that the heat from it didn't short out a wire before the fuse popped, or the short in the wire is what caused the fuse to pop.
houstonalle Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 I'm having the same problem and I've having a H@#l of a time getting the cover off the driver footwell fuse box cover. How does this thing come off???
