txlexus Posted September 10, 2003 Posted September 10, 2003 Hello, Could someone please tell me what is wrong with my car. I have a 2001 RX300. I back out of the drive way yesterday and the Engine light came on. After that, the Traction Control and VSC light come on also. I tried turning the engine off and back to see if the light stay off but it come back on again after 5 second. The car has 55k miles on it. I do regular maintenane. If you have any info on this, I would really appreciate. Thanks in advance Tony
txlexus Posted September 10, 2003 Author Posted September 10, 2003 Update, Went home for lunch and unplug the battery cable for about five minutes and plug it back in. I WORKED. NO more engine, traction control, and VSC light.
SKperformance Posted September 10, 2003 Posted September 10, 2003 it didn't work you just made the computer forget to look for a problem that is reoccuring that is probably intermittent so if and when the part breaks you know will not be able to pin point it ahead of time you did your self no favour by taking the light off next time get it checked
