mik Posted December 16, 2002 Posted December 16, 2002 Anyone got any words of wisdom on what to do with a 90 ls400 with 58k miles and the rear suspension has collapsed? I've been told it's $2k to get it fixed. Is there a cheaper way - like junking the tems and going with regular springs/shocks? Thanks M
UCF3 Posted January 14, 2003 Posted January 14, 2003 Curious: TEMs is an aftermarket product. I don't think it was put on the 90 LS400s. But don't take my word for it. I did see it on an 89 and 90 Supra. I don't believe I have it on my LS, but I can't tell. Since it's supposed to be an Aftermarket controller, you should be able to switch it back to a regular shock and spring config, but check it out first. As for cheap, I would search at the junk yards and see what you can salvage.
